Upcoming Events : Colloquium

The first congress of LALISA, New Temporal Regimes in Literature, History, and the Social Sciences, will be held April 8–9, 2016 at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. The conference aspires to offer a space to reflect on topics such as tradition and identity construction, testimonial literature, visual culture, discourses on memory, and translation. The larger goal is to formulate an aesthetic, social, and political criticism of time. This interdisciplinary event will provide a framework for collaboration between the universities and colleges that make up LALISA, as well as between faculty and students.
